Identity.
BOOOOOKS is a space in Antwerp dedicated to exploring contemporaneity through the showcase of independent art publishing. In its original location, over the course of a year, BOOOOOKS invited each season a leading independent publisher working in the contemporary cultural field and presented a cross-section of their work. The guiding principle is the book: as a material object resulting from reflections on both content and form; as an idea and symbol of the human necessity to tell stories.

Watson Memić continues to develop the identity of BOOOOOKS as it changes location as an occasional space and programme for the exploration and support of independent arts publishing.
